The CGF Mission Statement is derived from our Constitution:

The primary objectives of the CGF are to promote, administer and encourage amateur golf in Cyprus.
In support of these objectives, CGF responsibilities are to:

• Co-operate with the Royal and Ancient Club of St. Andrews, the European Golf Association, and other National Unions and Federations.
• Establish and maintain a uniform system of handicapping.
• Arrange the Cyprus Open Golf Championships. international matches and other events.
• Co-ordinate the annual golfing programmes of member and affiliated clubs.
• Act as the focal point for seeking formal Government and other majorsponsorship for golf activities in Cyprus.
• Co-ordinate the promotion and development of golf activities, including education and coaching of junior golfers.
• In collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, promote Cyprus as a golf destination.
• Manage the affairs of the CGF to the best advantage of the Federation and its members.

To Whom it May Concern:
For legal purposes, the original CGF constitution has been drawn up in Greek, however an English translation has likewise been prepared.
