Sunday, 7 December 2025, Secret Valley Golf Resort

Annual team event organised by CGF, with teams consisting of 8 federated amateur players from each of the Full and Associate Member Clubs competing against each other, in a shotgun start competition.

Club Teams are always encouraged to include both Ladies & Men, depending of course on each club captain’s pick. Men: maximum exact WHS Index 24.0, Ladies: maximum exact WHS Index 28.0 (WHS Exact Indexes at the time of a team’s registration). The format is handicap qualifying Stableford off full handicap allowance, with the best 6 scorecards from each Club, counting. 

No buggies may be used, except in the case of players with Official Registered Disabled status. Electric or manual trolleys may be used. Caddies are allowed but must register with the Registrar. For Caddies rules see the document CGF Terms of Competitions as published on the CGF’s website. A non-playing Team Captain is permitted, however no advice maybe given, shared or received in any format on the course.

The winning team will receive the CGF Cup, with individual prizes for the winning players. There are also Best Net Man and Best Net Lady prizes.

Nicos Severis Cyprus Junior Open 2026

Cyprus Golf Federation's premier Junior tournament (a WAGR counting event) to be played on the Eléa Golf Course, from 16 to 18 February 2026 (Registration & Official Practice Round - 15 February). 

Eligible to compete in the U16 category are boys and girls who on Registration day have not reached the age of 16 years old (born on or after 16 February 2010) with a maximum WHS HI of 28.0 for boys and 36.0 for girls. 

Eligible to compete in the U18 category are boys and girls who who on Registration day have not reached the age of 18 years old (born on or after 16 February 2008) with a maximum WHS HI of 24.0 for boys and 28.0 for girls.

The boy & girl players from any category with the lowest gross score over 54 holes will be the Cyprus Junior Open Boys Champion 2026 and the Cyprus Junior Open Girls Champion 2026 respectively. The Nicos Severis Cyprus Junior Open Boys and the Nicos Severis Cyprus Junior Open Girls trophies are reserved for the U18 category.

Countries/Federations represented by 3 or more players will compete for the Nations Cup.

This a 54-hole stroke play World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event. It is open to gemtelmen players who conform to the current Amateur Status Rules of the R&A and hold a current and valid WHS Index of 9.0 and below.

CHARITY EVENT

Special Olympics Cyprus provides year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. 

The event is a 4-person team AMAM hosted in 2026 by Secret Valley Golf Resort - Stableford off full handicap, played off the Yellow tees for men and Red tees for ladies. Two scores to count on each hole. Team Entry Fee is €180.00 / Individual Entry Fee €55.00

 Amateur golfers of all nationalities, members of the Cyprus Golf Federation, holding an Active federation license and a Valid WHS Handicap Index within the limits specified in the Conditions of Entry for the event.

Additionally, competitors holding a Cypriot National ID or Cypriot Passport need to submit their Cypriot National ID or Cypriot Passport to the CGF offices (cgf@cgf.org.cy) prior to the closing date for the event to be eligible for automatic inclusion to the

National sub-divisions for Men, and Ladies.

For 2026, the tournament will be hosted by the prestigious Secret Valley golf course between 26 and 27 September 2026 (Registration & Official Practice Round 25 September). This a 36-hole stroke play World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event. It is open to gentlemen and lady players who on 20 September 2025 have reached the age of 50 years old, conform to the current Amateur Status Rules of the R&A and hold a current and valid WHS Index of 24.0 and below for Men and 30 and below for Ladies.

Nicos Severis Cyprus Junior Open 2025

Cyprus Golf Federation's premier Junior tournament (a WAGR counting event) to be played on the Secret Valley Golf Resort course, from 6 to 9 February 2025. Eligible to compete in the Under-16 category are boys and girls who as of January 1, 2025 are 16 years old or under and with a maximum WHS HI of 28.0 for boys and 36.0 for girls. 

Eligible to compete in the Under-18 category are boys and girls who who are 18 years old or under as of January 1, 2025, with a maximum WHS HI of 18.0 for boys and 28.0 for girls.

The boy & girl players from any age category with the lowest gross score over 54 holes will be the Nicos Severis Cyprus Junior Open Boys Champion 2025 and the Nicos Severis Cyprus Junior Open Girls Champion 2025 respectively.

The Cyprus Super Senior Amateur Men's & Ladies Open tournaments are NOT WAGR eligible.
